Compliance Senior Analyst

Job Summary
Conduct investigations, monitoring, and auditing for the Office of Compliance and Integrity at OSU Wexner Medical Center. Prioritize and re-prioritize compliance activities including regulatory identification, adherence to federal and state laws, and staff education sessions. Collaborate with the Chief Compliance/Privacy Officer, Legal Services, and leaders across departments to enforce standards of employee conduct and revise the program as regulatory environments change. Manage databases and audit processes while maintaining positive interactions with faculty, staff, and patients. Requires four years of experience in compliance, internal audit, or law firms, with a preferred Juris Doctorate. Full-time, first shift role at the Mershon Center.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience
- Four (4) years of work experience in compliance, internal audit, or law firm preferred
- Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills
- Strong conceptual, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer experience Microsoft Office products
- High degree of organizational skills including effective time management skills to set/reset priorities accordingly
Desired Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent experience
- Work experience specific to auditing, fraud waste and abuse &/or conflicts of interest management
- Knowledge of Ohio Ethics Laws
- Familiarity with Open Payments Provision of the Affordable Care Act
- Experience with managing databases
- Experience with providing education sessions to a broad audience
- Certification in at least one of the following: CPC, CPC-H, CCS, RHIA, CIA or CPA
