Job Summary
Manage existing or create new global compliance programs for Marketplace, Payment Facilitators, Merchant Location, and Digital Wallet initiatives. Enforce interoperable rules and standards by monitoring, investigating, and validating client adherence while negotiating complex action plans with senior client officers. Oversee Non-Compliance Assessments (NCAs) and operational control points to ensure minimal brand and reputational risk exposure. Collaborate with leadership to prepare annual strategies, manage team workload prioritization, and act as the escalation point for client issues. Provide accurate interpretation of Visa Rules and regulatory matters to clients and staff, conduct awareness training, and analyze performance trends to define global compliance strategy.
Required Qualifications
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- 0 years of work experience with a PhD
- Minimum of 8+ years progressively responsible experience in financial services, payment card, banking, audit or compliance
Desired Qualifications
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree
- 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Visa experience or in-depth knowledge of the payment solutions industry
- Extensive experience with Visa, a Regulatory Body, a Card Membership Organization or other Financial Industry body
- Knowledge of the Visa Rules
