Job Summary
Consult with external parties and internal teams to obtain documentation and resolve procedural issues during crop insurance reviews. Exercise independent judgment on complex cases, escalate reviews as needed, and coordinate with adjusting staff on conflict of interest, growing season inspections, and high-dollar reviews. Manage review workload efficiently while maintaining all documentation in the policy processing system and adhering to RMA and Federal Crop Insurance regulations. Monitor the Compliance Register for assignments and participate in assigned education programs. Maintain a qualified reviewer status and uphold performance standards for contacting insureds and responding to daily communications.
Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Solid written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy when serving both internal and external teams
- Advanced organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Maintaining confidentiality in daily operations
- Curiosity to ask questions and solve problems
- A strong work ethic to support your team in meeting required deadlines
- Maintain knowledge of Risk Management Agency (RMA) rules and regulations, ProAg procedures, and Federal Crop Insurance regulations
- Maintain a qualified and trained reviewer status
- Actively participate in all assigned employee education and development programs
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of crop insurance/agriculture related experience is preferred but not required
