Job Summary
Plan, implement, and administer a system-wide compliance program ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations including HIPAA, HITECH, OSHA, Stark Law, and federal/state requirements. Proactively monitor compliance risks, develop preventative measures, and lead investigations into data breaches or privacy violations while fostering a culture of integrity across clinical and administrative teams. Coordinate internal and external audits, serve as a regulatory agency point of contact, and develop policies to safeguard Protected Health Information. Monitor billing processes for coding accuracy, conduct risk assessments, and report findings to senior leadership to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- In-depth knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing practices
- In-depth knowledge of federal/state healthcare laws
- Experience conducting audits
- Experience conducting risk assessments
- Experience conducting investigations
- Proven ability to communicate compliance concepts to both clinical and administrative team members

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in pediatrics or clinical healthcare
- Certification in healthcare compliance (CHC) or similar credential
