Job Summary
Build and maintain scalable security compliance processes across the APAC region, translating global standards into actionable programs including gap analyses and remediation plans. Independently conduct end-to-end security compliance audits against ISMAP control domains, preparing documentation for external review and collaborating with Japanese government agencies and auditors. Lead internal assessments to ensure product readiness, draft detailed compliance reports on key findings, and drive technology compliance activities while applying proficiency in Japanese for local communication. Manage audit work, identify process gaps, and work with teams to remediate findings under the supervision of the Tech GRC manager.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent Japanese
- Business-level English with speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Security/Cyber Security or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of related security compliance assessments, IT/Cloud auditing, and control testing experience
- Proven knowledge of Security Compliance frameworks (e.g., ISMAP, IRAP, ISO, SOC 2, etc.)
- Strong auditing background
- Technical expertise and deep knowledge of information security controls such as SDLC, Cryptography, Access management and Backup
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure like AWS, Azure, GCP, along with hands on experience
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to anticipate questions, independently assess risk, and think critically and creatively
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a distributed team in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant security related certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM)
- Knowledge of AI in security and compliance
