Job Summary
Lead and administer the organization's enterprise-wide compliance, ethics, and privacy programs to ensure adherence to federal, state, and industry standards. Serve as the designated Privacy Officer, overseeing HIPAA compliance, developing internal policies, and conducting risk assessments to mitigate regulatory and operational threats. Direct auditing, monitoring, and investigations of privacy incidents and breaches while managing rights requests and protected health information. Promote a culture of integrity through staff training and act as a subject matter expert to leadership and the Board on regulatory matters. Prepare reports on program effectiveness and collaborate with legal counsel and regulators. Requires a Bachelor's degree with five years of healthcare compliance experience and a Master's preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Legal Studies, or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare compliance, privacy, risk management, auditing, legal/regulatory affairs, or a related healthcare field
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Law, or related field
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)
- Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC)
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)
