Job Summary
Compliance Practitioner role focused on administering the Lineage Safety Program to maintain a safe, compliant work environment. Responsibilities include collaborating with leadership to prepare for audits, partnering with Operations to resolve facility and customer issues, conducting accident investigations, leading safety-policy meetings, monitoring safety supplies, and maintaining accurate records. The position requires strong safety-policy communication, training (including new-hire safety orientations), and the ability to work in cold or hot storage environments with appropriate PPE. Based in West Sacramento, CA with standard daytime hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 2 years’ related experience in safety compliance roles
- Knowledge of country’s safety regulations/standards
- Governing bodies and employer obligations for work-related injuries
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit in cold storage sites or up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit in dry storage sites while wearing PPE and freezer gear
- Must be comfortable with various noise levels
