Job Summary

Monitor, analyze, and report on humanitarian developments and emergency situations impacting the oPt Humanitarian Fund performance. Organize follow-up work management responses for audits and evaluations, while establishing contacts with UN agencies and NGOs to detect compliance issues and verify prevention mechanisms. Draft policy guidelines, briefings, and case studies related to risk management, and serve as the primary focal point for monitoring and reporting mechanisms aligned with global pooled fund guidelines. Provide advice on compliance policy issues, participate in field project monitoring, and conduct risk management training for implementing partners.

Required Qualifications

  • An advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in business administration, public administration, Finance, accounting, or a related field
  • A first-level university degree in the areas mentioned above in combination with two years of relevant qualifying experience
  • Up to (2) two years (with Master ́s degree) or minimum (2) two years (with Bachelor ́s degree) of progressively responsible experience in finance, project management, accounting, public administration, economics, or a related field
  • Experience in Finance, and project management cycle, including performance monitoring
  • Fluency in English and Arabic language both spoken and written

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in compliance and risk management
  • Experience in internal control systems, accounting tools, or related
  • Experience with the UN common system or equivalent international organization
