Understand and manage licensing requirements for USA Money Transmitter Licenses (MTL), Electronic Money Institution (EMI) registrations, and related state-level compliance obligations. Build and maintain deep internal understanding of regulatory requirements and partner with product teams to embed these rules into platform design and functionality. Collaborate with product, technology, and sales to develop compliant solutions, reporting tools, and operational processes that adhere to local regulatory expectations. Ensure compliance with all local regulatory filings and reporting obligations, including regulatory requests, ongoing submissions, and escalation processes. Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate communication and reporting on compliance-related issues. Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance and implement corrective measures. Stay informed about global regulatory developments and emerging fintech trends to drive continuous improvement in the company’s compliance practices.
