Job Summary
Compliance Officer role within Immigration Compliance & Investigations (ICI) at MBIE, Auckland. Responsibilities include promoting compliance with NZ immigration law, investigating and managing breaches of visa conditions and deportation processes, with a focus on Migrant Exploitation; involves outdoor work and potential travel within New Zealand. Requires strong investigative, organisational, and communication skills, ability to work with diverse communities, and the ability to operate in a government regulatory environment; training and powers of entry/search/detention provided. Suitable for candidates with experience in legislation interpretation, investigations/enforcement, and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Citizenship or indefinite residence required.
