Job Summary
Compliance Manager to oversee all aspects of quality, safety, and environmental compliance across Wild Nutrition’s manufacturing, supply chain, and retail operations. You will monitor UK, EU, and global food supplement regulations (FSA, EFSA, MHRA), liaise with trade associations and regulatory bodies, manage health and nutrition claims in line with guidelines, sign off on product labels and marketing content, own the compliance gates for new product launches, and lead the Quality Management System, CAPA processes, and internal/audit programs while supporting B Corp and sustainability initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Background: Degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Law, or Business + 3–5+ years of compliance experience in food, nutraceuticals, or regulated FMCG.
- Know-How: Strong grip on UK food supplement/labelling laws (FSA & EFSA) and certification frameworks (BRCGS, FSSC 22000, SALSA, or GMP).
- System Skills: Experience writing SOPs, managing a QMS, and handling CAPA/complaints with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Eagle Eye: Legendary attention to detail, you spot a date-marking glitch on page 20 without prompting.
- Collaborator: A natural bridge-builder who loves working across NPD, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with B Corp data, Soil Association Organic, MSC, or Vegan Society standards.
- Global export knowledge (US, Canada, Australia) or MHRA borderline assessments.
- Membership with a professional body (IFST, RSB).
