Job Summary
Compliance Manager to design and implement a scalable, companywide compliance program for an aerospace/defense components supplier. Reporting to General Counsel, the role will partner with engineering, manufacturing, and contracting to embed compliance across operations. Responsibilities include owning FAR/DFARS flow-downs, reviewing contracts for flow-down clauses, export and ITAR/EAR/OFAC compliance, SAM and other government registrations, ITAR classification, export licensing, CMMC/NIST 800-171 readiness, CUI governance, training, and strategic risk management. Travel as needed; on-site in El Segundo, CA; US person required under ITAR. Lead cross-functional collaboration, advise leadership on regulatory implications, and help staff the growing compliance function.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory, legal operations, or related roles
- Experience implementing or building compliance programs in high growth environments
- Strong working knowledge of FAR and DFARS requirements
- Strong working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and US trade compliance
- Experience in aerospace and defense
