Job Summary
FinTech Compliance Lead, Network Growth plays a pivotal role within Affirm’s Compliance Advisory team, partnering with Merchant Risk and cross-functional groups to identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory risks in merchant and platform partnerships. You will review financial services marketing materials for regulatory compliance, contribute to the development of training and reference materials, support risk assessments and control inventories, and advise on regulatory considerations related to merchant and partner integrations. The role requires working independently in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills, and a keen understanding of consumer financial protections and relevant laws (UDAAP, CAN-SPAM, FCRA, TCPA, TILA, ECOA, EFTA, TISA). Affirm is remote-first with the majority of roles remote across the U.S. and Canada; base pay ranges reflect regional variance, and visa sponsorship is not available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in a compliance advisory role

- Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Experience advising revenue-generating stakeholder groups
- A strong interest in fintech and consumer financial protections
- Working knowledge of consumer financial laws and regulations, including UDAAP, CAN-SPAM, FCRA, TCPA, TILA (Reg. Z), ECOA (Reg. B), EFTA (Reg. E), TISA (Reg. DD)
- Inquisitive and proactive in identifying problems and proposing creative solutions
- Ability to work in a self-directed environment with excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
