Compliance Lead - Member of Technical Staff

Job Summary
Own and continue the certification and assurance roadmap across frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, and emerging AI standards. Run certifications end-to-end by defining scope, coordinating remediation, gathering evidence, and managing auditors. Assess requirements for new markets and deployments, translating regulations into concrete implications for products, infrastructure, data, and operations. Lead customer and external assurance processes across questionnaires, audits, evidence requests, contractual commitments, and regulatory reviews. This role builds the compliance function enabling Callosum to enter new markets without pushing complexity onto engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- Experience personally taking a major certification, regulatory, or customer assurance process end-to-end
- Experience leading compliance for infrastructure, platform, AI, or other technically complex products
- Strong enough technical judgement to turn abstract requirements into practical, buildable actions for engineering teams
- Experience operating across regulated customers or multiple jurisdictions, with good judgement about which controls materially matter
