Job Summary
Compliance Intern will support onboarding and KYC compliance processes for users on the Bamboo platform globally. Responsibilities include reviewing customer information for completeness, performing KYC checks, maintaining organized verification records, compiling reports for audits and monitoring, tracking potential compliance risks, identifying process bottlenecks, staying informed on KYC/AML requirements, and collaborating with internal teams (Customer Support, Operations, Treasury) to support onboarding and financial compliance activities. The role emphasizes building foundational experience in compliance within a fast-paced fintech environment and requires 0-1 years of related experience, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 0-1 years of experience in compliance, operations, or a related support/analyst role
- Foundational knowledge of KYC/AML regulations and onboarding processes
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and basic reporting tools
- Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues
- A willingness to learn and grow within a high-paced, regulated environment
