Job Summary
Execute assigned routes driving a company vehicle to perform physical and visual inspections of underground and aboveground petroleum storage tank systems. Collect and organize inspection data using iOS software platforms while identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe conditions, leaks, or environmental hazards. Maneuver heavy access covers and access low-clearance areas to ensure compliance with federal EPA and state regulations. Serve as a professional representative by addressing customer requests and collecting feedback to enhance service quality. No prior experience required; full training and state certifications provided within 30–90 days.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to maneuver heavier access covers weighing 75–100 lbs utilizing leverage tools
- Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or reach to access low-clearance areas, sumps, and containment basins
- Must be able to drive company vehicles for extended periods
- Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Must be able to inspect components visually
- Must be able to read regulatory documents/gauges
- Must be able to detect environmental hazards or petroleum odors (e.g., fuel vapors or leaks)
