Job Summary
Conduct electrical compliance assessments, testing, and inspections to ensure site assets align with British Standards and statutory regulations. Develop and implement compliance plans, review design data for risks, and carry out internal audits to verify regulatory alignment. Investigate and resolve compliance issues by recommending improvements to products, processes, and ways of working while guiding Duty Holders and SMEs to enhance frameworks. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to monitor progress. Partner with engineering, production, and project teams to deliver safe, compliant, and reliable electrical systems that protect people and safeguard assets.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of British Standards, Electricity at Work Regulations, Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER), and Electromagnetic Field (EMF) Regulations
- Certified in CompEx (Ex01–Ex04, Ex05–Ex06, Ex11) for work in hazardous areas
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve electrical faults and compliance issues using Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Experience guiding installation, testing, and commissioning of new or modified electrical systems
- Flexibility between Burton Latimer & Corby site
