Job Summary
Compliance DS Director at DePuy Synthes (Johnson & Johnson) based in Raynham, MA. Leads the DPS GS Compliance team, oversees governance of outsource SOX testing, and coordinates cross-functional workstreams to deliver a fit-for-purpose L2 Compliance Organization. Responsibilities include defining SOX 404 testing framework, partnering with EY and Controllership, aligning with GAA on audit solutions, supporting audits and remediation, driving stakeholder communications to leadership, and ensuring regulatory and SOX control requirements are addressed. Requires ~10 years of finance/audit experience, strong leadership, and CPA/CMA preferred. Travel up to 10%. The role anticipates a move to DePuy Synthes employment post-separation, with base pay in the 150k-300k range and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Finance/Accounting)
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS) and/or accounting qualification (CPA, CMA) strongly preferred
- ~10 years of relevant finance, auditing, or accounting experience; demonstrable experience supporting or leading significant transformation preferred
- Experience in shared services / SSC or working with BPO partners
- Leading an organization in meeting SOX 404 Controls & Testing and/ or assessing and evaluating financial risk and risk remediation and mitigation
- Strong understanding of SOX 404 Controls
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SAP or similar ERPs preferred
- Project/program management skills (planning, risk management, stakeholder governance)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication; ability to present to senior leadership
- Travel ~ up to 10%
