Job Summary
Directs and advises on regulatory compliance for assigned business units and products in commercial insurance; translates complex regulatory topics into actionable guidance for senior leaders; leads cross-unit initiatives; identifies regulatory risks and develops strategic solutions; collaborates with the Law Department and other enterprise stakeholders to deliver practical, risk-balanced solutions; builds credibility with regulators and supports leadership decision-making with clear, actionable insights.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a commercial insurance regulatory environment and/or with commercial insurance products (experience with Workers’ Compensation and/or other casualty lines preferred)
- Demonstrated experience supporting and influencing senior leaders and executive stakeholders
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex issues for executive audiences
- Proven ability to build relationships and operate effectively across all levels of the organization
- J.D. from accredited law school preferred (but not required)
