Job Summary
The Compliance Coordinator position at North Star Consulting Solutions LLC involves assisting with compliance documentation and operations oversight for Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) providers. This part-time role entails supporting the Designated Manager, ensuring service documentation meets licensor standards, and coordinating with provider clients, case managers, and guardians. Candidates should have a strong background in 245D compliance requirements and excellent organizational and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in the 245D / HCBS field (required): familiarity with DHS documentation standards, person-centered planning, and compliance requirements.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), Microsoft Word, Excel, and document-signing tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to grammar, tone, and professional correspondence.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, while maintaining responsiveness and accountability.
- Comfortable conducting virtual and in-person meetings with clients and staff.
- Demonstrated reliability, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling sensitive client information.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience assisting with DHS audits or corrective action plans.
- Familiarity with Designated Manager and Designated Coordinator responsibilities.
- Knowledge of documentation templates, client intake processes, and compliance tracking tools.
- Previous experience in administrative or compliance support roles in the home-health or human-services field.
