Compliance Coordinator

Job Summary

Conduct broad clerical and operational services for the Compliance Department and general administration, ensuring contractual, legal, and programmatic requirements are met. Review written policies and procedures, centralize contracts, and perform internal audits and monitoring to track compliance metrics and investigate violations. Assist the Chief Administrative Officer and Compliance Manager with confidential matters, including responding to incident reports, managing files in Compliatric, and convening department meetings. Provide administrative support for organizational meetings, board committees, and staff training, while serving as a backup for the HQ Administrative Assistant. Manage central administration and compliance/risk management files to ensure policies remain up to date.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with two years of relevant work in administration
  • Some college with four years of progressive experience of relevant work experience along with increasing responsibilities
  • Technologically savvy with proficiency using the Windows OS, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365 application and database software
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication (oral and written) skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze situation and make appropriate decisions and work independently following initial guidance from supervisor
  • Proven ability to demonstrate tact, appropriate judgement and discretion in preparing, disclosing and handling information of a confidential and sensitive nature
  • Demonstrates cultural humility and sensitive and demonstrated ability and effectiveness in working with ethnically diverse populations and diverse environments
  • Regularly required to talk or hear
  • Occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to fingers, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms
  • Occasionally required to lift to 15 pounds
  • Required to work both in the clinic and office environments

Desired Qualifications

  • Bilingual/bicultural in an Asian language preferred
  • Commitment to working in the Asian community, to community health care preferably with community health clinics
  • Familiarity with compliance and/or risk management tracking and reporting in health care setting
