Job Summary
Senior Compliance Consultant with deep expertise in health & welfare benefits to support a national client base. Serve as a trusted advisor to employers, brokers, TPAs, and PBMs, interpreting and applying evolving federal and state regulations across benefit plans. Translate complex regulations into practical guidance; deliver webinars, trainings, and educational seminars; author thought leadership content; monitor regulatory updates; collaborate cross-functionally to support product development; mentor junior team members; contribute to scalable client solutions; occasional travel (2–3x/year) for client and team engagement.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of experience in employee benefits compliance consulting
- Strong expertise across IRS, DOL, and CMS regulations
- Deep knowledge of: ERISA, COBRA, ACA, §125, MHPAEA, HIPAA
- Ability to translate complex regulatory information into clear, actionable insights
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
- Strong analytical mindset and business acumen
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with compliance research tools (e.g., EBIA, Westlaw)
- JD preferred
