Job Summary
Conduct site assessments and surveys for fuel tank and piping system compliance. Perform leak tests, install and test gauge systems, and troubleshoot equipment. Enter results into proprietary TANCS software and report findings to Operations. Manage vehicle inventory and maintain safety standards during all field activities. Requires mechanical aptitude, ability to lift 70 lbs, and climbing 20 ft ladders daily. Travel across multiple states with overnight stays. Starting salary $40–52k with revenue bonus; full benefits including 401(k) match and health insurance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must live within a reasonable distance (e.g., 60 minutes) of the advertised location
- Willingness to undergo DOT physical, drug screening, DMV check, and background check
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks like stooping, bending, and kneeling
- Comfortable climbing 20 ft extension ladders multiple times daily
- Basic computer skills for data entry and use of TANCS software
- Effective communication skills and customer service orientation
