Job Summary
Compliance Auditor responsible for hard-file reviews to ensure leases, safety regulations, and Fair Housing compliance across Avanath's affordable housing portfolio. Conduct in-depth examination of resident files and records, identify non-compliance issues, and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with property managers and staff to implement solutions; generate detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations; stay current on federal, state, and local regulations governing property management and leasing; maintain thorough documentation and provide guidance on compliance practices. Requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, ability to work independently, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Yardi Voyager is highly desired. Will travel within the region as needed.
