Job Summary
Confirm systems and controls for UK, Bermuda, and Guernsey operations against Lloyd's, PRA, FCA, BMA, and GFSC regulations. Review policies, procedures, and controls to ensure efficiency, while maintaining the SM&CR framework and Management Responsibilities Map. Draft governance papers for Board and Committee meetings, and complete annual Compliance Plan updates and horizon scanning logs. Provide regulatory advice, manage the Employers Liability Register audit, and ensure timely submission of Lloyd's and FCA returns. Support cross-functional projects, conduct training reviews, and maintain proactive relationships with regulators and internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of SM&CR regulations
- Knowledge of Lloyd's of London regulations
- Knowledge of Lloyd's Insurance Company (LIC) requirements
- Knowledge of Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA) requirements
- Knowledge of Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) requirements
- Knowledge of Bermudan Monetary Authority (BMA) requirements
- Knowledge of Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC) requirements
- Ability to draft and maintain compliance frameworks
- Ability to draft governance papers for Board, Committee or other governance bodies
- Ability to oversee and assist with annual ELR audit
- Ability to coordinate with external auditors
- Ability to liaise with Operations and internal teams
- Ability to manage remediation activities
- Ability to ensure training and development regarding compliance matters is in place
- Ability to review and update training course content
- Ability to work closely with Financial Crime Team
- Ability to work closely with Conduct & Complaints Team
- Ability to attend regulatory and legislative change-related seminars, webinars, conferences, and market forums
