Job Summary
Lead the Applied AI/ML initiatives within JPMorgan Chase's Compliance, Conduct Operational Risk Data Analytics, developing deployable AI/ML models and proofs-of-concept from business problems. Analyze complex/unstructured data to extract insights, design methodologies, and collaborate with risk professionals and model governance teams. Build scalable data pipelines, leverage graph analytics and networked data techniques, and document quantitative models for internal risk governance.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Python, R or Scala with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Physical Sciences, Econometrics, Statistics, or other quantitative discipline
- Demonstrable knowledge of ML methods and statistical models
- Hands-on experience with graph analytics, graph-based learning, and graph representation/visualization
- Experience with graph databases (TigerGraph, Neo4j) and graph query languages (Cypher)
- Hands-on software development experience for analytical and computationally intensive systems; cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks)
- Experience in developing and operationalizing data pipelines
- Familiarity with integrating large data from multiple databases and documenting quantitative analyses
- Postgraduate degrees preferred; knowledge of NLP techniques is a plus
- Strong communication skills and self-starter attitude
