Job Summary

Evaluate emerging technologies and analytics capabilities to identify opportunities that improve compliance oversight, risk monitoring, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop Power BI dashboards using Databricks-hosted data, translating complex datasets into executive-level reporting and actionable insights. Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and emerging risks while supporting the implementation of automation and generative AI solutions. Monitor the effectiveness of implemented strategies to recommend ongoing refinements and partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements. Provide support, documentation, and training related to new processes and technologies, assisting with change management efforts to ensure adoption.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and visualizations that translate complex data into actionable business insights
  • Demonstrated success identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, quality, or risk management
  • Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools, including Power BI and SQL; experience with Excel, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or similar analytics platforms
  • Experience working with Databricks-hosted data sources, including data exploration, SQL-based querying, data validation, and supporting reporting and analytics solutions
  • Experience partnering with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions, reports, and dashboards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to leaders at multiple organizational levels
  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required
  • Wireless, wired cable or DSL connection
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
  • Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree (e.g., MBA, MHA, MPH, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field)
  • Experience developing workflow automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate or similar automation platforms
  • Experience using generative AI tools to improve productivity, automate business processes, analyze data, or support decision-making
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, including Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, CMS regulations, and Department of Insurance requirements
  • Experience in compliance, audit, risk management, healthcare operations, or a similarly regulated environment
  • Experience working with large-scale enterprise data platforms and cloud-based analytics environments
  • Familiarity with Databricks Genie, Azure data services, or other modern AI-enabled analytics platforms
  • Experience developing executive dashboards, KPI reporting, and business performance metrics for senior leadership audiences
