Job Summary
Monitor and report on compliance with NERC Operations and Planning Reliability Standards, ERCOT Nodal Protocols, and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission orders. Identify compliance risks, develop remediation solutions, and act as the primary liaison between staff, regulatory agencies, and external auditors. Prepare documentation, maintain audit worksheets, and coordinate responses to Requests for Information (RFIs). Develop internal controls, facilitate training, and communicate technical compliance information to technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Auditing or related field
- 2 years related work experience
- 5 years related work experience
- CCEP Certified Compliance Ethics Professional
- NERC System Operator Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer experience with NERC Operations and Planning Reliability Standards and the ERCOT Nodal Protocols, Operating Guides, and OBDs
- Prefer experience with Bulk Electric System (BES) operations and/or planning
- Prefer experience with NERC compliance monitoring
- Prefer experience with RSAW and evidence development
- Prefer experience with Texas Reliability Entity and/or NERC audits
- Prefer experience with SQL
- Prefer experience with Cognos
- Prefer experience with Python
- Prefer experience with other data analysis platforms
