Compliance Analyst

Job Summary
Conduct regulatory and compliance support across governance, fitness and probity, outsourcing, licensing, and conduct risk. Manage routine correspondence, coordinate regulatory returns, and assist with annual policy reviews and licence applications for Irish and international entities. Perform second-line compliance assurance activities, prepare reports for executive committees, and respond to queries for Zurich, UK, and Belgium branches. Review regulatory consultation papers to provide timely updates and support ad-hoc projects related to upcoming regulatory developments. This role reports to the Head of Compliance PCF-12/52 within the Dublin office, offering exposure to diverse regulatory matters and direct engagement with senior leaders and regulators.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year's experience working in a Compliance function within the insurance sector, or broader experience within an insurance company
- Educated to degree level in the areas of Law/Business/Compliance or another related field
- Self-motivated and professional approach with a strong desire to learn
- Demonstrable ability to work well under pressure as part of a fast-paced team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- In this role, you will be required to attend the office 3 days per week
- You may be required to infrequently travel internationally
Desired Qualifications
- LCOI designation or equivalent or willingness to work towards achieving such a designation
- Good knowledge of compliance in the (re)insurance sector and familiarity with European (re)insurance regulation useful but not necessary
- IT Systems knowledge including SharePoint and Microsoft Co-Pilot
