Job Summary
Compliance Analyst to join the Compliance Monitoring Risk Assurance (CMP) team in Montreal. Responsibilities include assisting senior analysts with implementing the Risk Assurance Centre of Excellence, supporting the global monitoring and testing programme, understanding data and metrics across offices, ensuring regulatory requirements related to outsourcing are reflected in testing, refining testing scripts and references (ViClarity), participating in second-line testing of operational activities, drafting findings and recommendations, tracking regulatory changes, supporting the global compliance programme rollout, and gaining expertise in financial crime and prudential regulations to ensure effective testing and controls. The role emphasizes collaboration with local compliance teams, understanding Maples Group systems, and contributing to a broad risk assurance effort. Candidates should demonstrate ethical standards, experience in a similar role (preferable), and strong communication skills; approximately two years of experience (or more without a degree) is noted as a consideration. Required Qualifications
- 2+/- years of experience (depending on level)
- Experience in Financial Services preferred
- Certifications in financial crime and/or regulatory subjects is a benefit
- Knowledge of Cayman Islands CIMA regulations an advantage
- Competent in Word and Excel
- Good communication skills
