Compliance Advisor - Lending

Job Summary
Provide regulatory compliance guidance to Frost’s lending operations, focusing on consumer protection and fair lending laws (Reg. Z, Reg. B, UDAAP, HMDA) and ongoing regulatory changes. Partner with lending teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, develop and update compliance policies and governance frameworks, prepare management and regulatory communications, and deliver employee training on obligations and best practices. Maintain current knowledge of applicable laws, support remediation of control deficiencies, and contribute to internal controls and reporting processes with a focus on integrity, care, and excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, in a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience in compliance
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and assess risks and their potential impact to lines of business
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
- Proven ability to prioritize risks and create the appropriate action plan to mitigate risks effectively
Desired Qualifications
- CRC M, CFIRS, or equivalent professional certification (preferred)
- 3+ years of relevant experience in compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, in a related field, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and assess risks and their potential impact to lines of business
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
- Proven ability to prioritize risks and create the appropriate action plan to mitigate risks effectively
- Experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders
- Reg Z, Reg B, UDAAP, HMDA familiarity
- Regulatory change management and risk remediation oversight
- Ability to develop and deliver regulatory guidance and training
- Management reporting and regulatory filings preparation
- Attention to integrity, caring, and excellence in execution
