Job Summary
The Complex Solutions Account Executive role focuses on leading solution-sales opportunities for Trane technologies, identifying and qualifying new business, and developing strategic relationships with public and private sector customers. You will manage client discovery, qualification, and the development of financial proposals (Pro Forma and business cases), collaborate with regional teams to shape strategy, and drive large deals to close while maintaining a multi-million dollar sales pipeline. The position requires travel to customer sites, collaboration with cross-functional teams (Project Development, Energy Engineering, Project Management), and the ability to articulate financial drivers, incentives, and value-based outcomes for infrastructure renewal and decarbonization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4-8 years of demonstrated executive selling experience preferred
- 5+ years of executive sales experience, preferably within municipal, utility, healthcare and education vertical markets
- Experience in financial sales with long, complex, multi-tiered sales cycles in both public and/or private sectors
- Ability to engage multiple stakeholders, influencers, and key decision makers
- Expertise in the financial, legal, and technical aspects of deal structuring with multiple buying influences
- Outstanding communication skills to educate clients about offerings and long-term investments
- Driver License, in-state with acceptable driving record
