Job Summary
Complex Securities Operations Analyst role focusing on OTC trade lifecycle operations across multiple asset classes, including trade affirmation/capture, settlement and cashflows, collateral and margin, and complex securities. Responsibilities include processing trades, confirmations, settlements, collateral movements, and corporate actions; resolving OTC instrument inquiries; coordinating with traders, brokers, custodians and internal teams; developing standard methodologies for trade operations; supporting system enhancements and audits; and maintaining regulatory compliance and risk controls. Hybrid work arrangement based in Budapest, with emphasis on collaboration across investment teams, brokers, custodians, and technology partners; opportunities for professional development and growth within a client-focused operations function.
Required Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high levels of data quality and operational accuracy
- Solid understanding of financial instruments, trade lifecycle, and middle office processes
- Ability to follow established procedures while identifying areas where controls can be strengthened
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and propose practical solutions
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across operations, technology, compliance, and other internal teams
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
- The intellectual curiosity to identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
