Complex RN - Kamakahelei Middle School, KKW CA (Kauai)

Support school administration to expand access to care via on-site clinics and telehealth, establish infectious disease safety protocols, and coordinate with community partners to connect students with primary and specialty providers. Educate school staff, students, and families on health initiatives while working closely with teachers, administrators, and the Hawaii Keiki team to carry out school health activities. Maintain professional clinical nursing practice focused on the health, well-being, and academic success of school-age children. This 10-month full-time role follows the HIDOE Teacher Schedule (7:30am–4:00pm, Mon–Fri), with professional responsibilities extending to scheduled meetings during non-student days. The position requires an RN with an Associate's degree, current Hawaii license, BLS certification, and experience in community-based or pediatric settings.
