Job Summary
Complex Purchasing Manager responsible for FP division purchasing strategy, supplier relationships, and contract management; manages supplier contracts, negotiates costs, oversees inventory control including MRO, packaging and ingredients, collaborates with finance and operations on annual operating plans, and leads continuous cost-reduction efforts with 3-4 direct reports. Holds responsibility for developing standardized ingredient plans for new development, coordinating with R&D, product management, and accounting to meet cost goals, and implementing corporate-wide purchasing agreements; requires strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and expertise in ERP/MRP systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Material or Logistics Management, Supply Chain or relevant discipline from an accredited institution
- 5+ years relevant purchasing experience
- 3+ years relevant protein purchasing experience

- Experience with packaging and ingredient categories

- Experience in a meat/protein/poultry/farm-to-table supply chain (preferred)
