Job Summary
Provide behavioral health support for pediatric patients with underlying medical diagnoses; develop and implement innovative care models to address behavioral health needs in children; lead and participate in patient and family education through individual sessions and treatment sessions; support discharge planning, especially for school reintegration and community transitions; participate in interdisciplinary rounds and team meetings focused on pediatric care; deliver and coordinate outpatient psychological services for children and their families; collaborate within a large interdisciplinary pediatric team including physicians, dietitians, social workers, therapists, and nurses; role offers flexible hours with 30-40 hours/week for full-time, and part-time/PRN options; location Sioux Falls, SD; requires doctoral degree and licensure eligibility in South Dakota; background check and drug screen required.
Required Qualifications
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology or related degree
- South Dakota Psychology Licensure or eligible for licensure
- Minimum of three years of experience in pediatrics is preferred
- All positions require a clear background check and drug screen upon conditional offer
