Defend consumer class actions involving false advertising, product defects, and breach of warranty claims by briefing certification and summary judgment motions. Conduct depositions, oral arguments, and expert interviews while managing e-discovery and responding to written discovery. Draft briefs and correspondence on matters including CA Unfair Competition Law. This high-priority hire in Morrison & Foerster's Complex Litigation + Advisement Practice Group offers early substantive responsibility on high-stakes matters for industry-leading clients, with a focus on building expertise in products liability as a key growth area for the group.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of class action defense experience
- Active member of the California or Washington State Bar
- Must be located on the West Coast (SF, San Diego, LA, or Seattle)
