Job Summary
Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, and health system. Plan clinical experiences, provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering care, and offer documented feedback based on performance against course objectives. Develop and post written clinical assignments tailored to student competency, grade homework and tests in a timely manner, and manage student remediation as required. Orient students to agency policies and maintain current knowledge of clinical procedures with assistance from clinical personnel. May teach didactic content under supervision and report student or agency issues to the course coordinator. Operate on a hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week. Compensation ranges from $1,120 to $7,245 per assignment based on education and experience.
Required Qualifications
- A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
- An unencumbered professional nursing license
- At least two years professional experience within last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required to teach at certain clinical partner sites
