Job Summary
Create and execute annual human resources strategies aligned with business goals and workforce planning. Foster a positive, inclusive environment by ensuring compliance with Canadian employment laws, policies, and procedures. Drive associate engagement through leadership development, training programs, and open communication channels. Lead recruitment and hiring efforts while overseeing performance management and employee relations investigations. Monitor workforce trends to recommend strategies for retention and organizational effectiveness. Maintain accurate HR records and champion the culture of safety across the hotel. Partner with hotel leadership on budgeting and benefits administration to support operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of Canadian employment laws and HR best practices
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and lead with integrity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality HR leadership
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
