Job Summary
Complex Director of Finance leads the property's financial operation across two hotels, directing the accounting department and producing accurate, timely financial reports to support management decisions. Responsible for internal controls over purchasing, cash handling, payroll, and asset inventories; develops and monitors budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies to drive profitability; analyzes wage variances and cost-saving opportunities; oversees audits and regulatory compliance; negotiates vendor contracts; ensures GAAP adherence and accurate P&L reporting; provides analytical support to the Management Team and Owners; requires strong leadership, integrity, and clear communication; travel approximately 10%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience as Director of Finance and/or Controller in the Hotel Industry
- Experience with M3 accounting software and ProfitSword
- Strong supervisory leadership abilities
- Proficient in GAAP and financial analysis
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial software
