Job Summary

Manage the most complex, highest exposure commercial claims by overseeing coverage determinations, investigations, and resolution strategies including negotiations and litigation. Drive continuous improvements for claim accounts while verifying coverage, setting reserves, and collaborating with counsel to execute resolution strategies. Establish and manage significant claim budgets, identify subrogation opportunities, and prepare high-profile executive summaries for senior leadership. Mentor less experienced claim professionals and ensure compliance with state and local regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Master's degree
  • Minimum ten years of relevant experience
  • Insurance Adjuster License
  • Expert knowledge of commercial insurance industry
  • Expert knowledge of commercial insurance products
  • Expert knowledge of policy language
  • Expert knowledge of coverage
  • Expert knowledge of claim practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
