Job Summary
Academic pediatrician leader sought as Associate Division Chief for Research to expand the Division’s research activities, mentor clinical and research staff, and strengthen linkages between the clinical enterprise and the Research Institute. Primary responsibilities include leading medical care provisions for patients with complex needs, developing and implementing research programs, mentoring residents/fellows, overseeing education and training, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and advancing translational research within Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Ohio State University College of Medicine. Requirements include MD/DO, pediatric board certification or eligibility, Ohio medical license, and eligibility for Associate Professor or Professor appointments; strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE in Pediatrics
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
- Board Certification or eligibility in Pediatrics
- Licensure in the State of Ohio (unrestricted)
- Fellowship training graduate if applicable; eligible for Associate Professor or Professor level appointment
