Job Summary
Conduct high-quality clinical care for children with autism spectrum disorder or related developmental disabilities in both Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Outpatient (OP) programs. Deliver behavioral interventions using applied behavior analysis, including assessments, caregiver training, and socially valid treatments. Manage a clinical caseload involving case management, evaluations, and direct services while ensuring accurate documentation and communication. Provide supervision to allied health providers and psychology trainees. Actively support ongoing research activities, including clinical trials and epidemiological studies, and contribute to departmental goals for quality improvement and customer service. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities.
Required Qualifications
- PhD or PsyD
- License-eligible or licensed to practice as psychologist in the state of Georgia
- Completion of postdoctoral fellowship focused on the assessment and treatment of complex behavior problems
- Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing as part of the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Professional Staff
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families and as a team member
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral level (BCBA-D)
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of an APA- or CPA-accredited doctoral program in psychology
- Completion of an APA-accredited internship
- Clinical training/background in applied behavior analysis and psychology with experience in the assessment and treatment of severe problem behaviors in children with developmental disabilities
- Preference will be given to candidates that are license-eligible to practice as a psychologist in the state of Georgia
