Job Summary
Completions Technical Specialist II coordinates Continued Operational Safety (COS) and Airworthiness Non-Compliance RCCAs with multiple engineering disciplines and the Gulfstream CAO. Performs RCCA activities for Entry-into-Service items, engages in engineering process development for aircraft programs and R&D projects, participates in customer forums and manages action items, guides major engineering programs, and develops standards and evaluation criteria to resolve complex issues while balancing technical product, cost, and schedule. Maintains knowledge of 14 CFR Part 25 for aircraft interiors and COS/AWSNC methodologies, and provides authoritative technical recommendations with minimal supervision; travel is limited and role is full-time at the Savannah, GA site.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- Ten years of experience in aerospace engineering or related field; including experience with COS, RCCA, EIS items, and 14 CFR Part 25 certification requirements for aircraft interiors; ability to work with FAA reporting and status updates
- Alternative qualification: Master’s degree in engineering with eight years of relevant experience or PhD with six years of relevant experience; ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; legal authority to work in the U.S.
