Job Summary
Provides comfort, relaxation and a sense of well-being to residents in long-term care; administers aromatherapy and light massage; develops and implements individual and group comfort care plans; collaborates with multidisciplinary teams; documents care; requires certification as Registered Aromatherapist/Reflexologist or Certified Holistic Practitioner; experience with geriatric populations; ability to travel between locations; evenings and weekends; PRC and immunization proof required.
Required Qualifications
- Approved certification/diploma from a community college as a Registered Aromatherapist & Reflexologist and/or Certified Holistic Practitioner or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Experience in carrying out complementary care techniques and interventions (e.g. aromatherapy, light massage, hands-on treatment) with geriatric populations in long-term, palliative care or other healthcare settings.
- Experience safely carrying out techniques that promote comfort, relaxation, and a sense of well-being.
