Job Summary
Competitor Business Specialist drives growth by identifying and converting competitor-installed base into Atlas Copco service and parts opportunities. Combines market intelligence, sales enablement, and strategic execution to penetrate competitor accounts, develop targeted capture strategies, and support opportunity conversion. Partners with Marketing and digital teams to leverage lead generation, defines KPIs for growth and revenue capture, and coaches sales teams on competitor penetration strategies. Travel required within Canada with flexible work-from-home options; role emphasizes strategic sales planning, customer visits to support negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration to increase service share across competitor-dominated environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge gained from experience in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration
- Sales management experience
- Experience developing marketing materials, sales tools, quoting processes, and delivering product training to sales teams
- Strong knowledge of CRM, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with a sales dashboard
- Willingness to travel as required
- Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, and identifying growth opportunities from an installed customer base
- Ability to work effectively with sales, operations, factory, and other internal divisions to align execution with business objectives
