Job Summary
Vice President, Competitive Intelligence in Global Banking focused on informing business heads and executives about changes in the competitive landscape and their impact on JP Morgan's Global Banking businesses. Responsibilities include driving senior leader engagement on priority projects, producing clear storytelling materials for senior audiences, developing deep understanding of current and emerging banking trends, leading discussions to translate insights into forward-looking recommendations, influencing the strategic agenda, collaborating with the business intelligence team, and developing junior CI resources. Requires 7+ years in related fields, strong storytelling and writing, superior presentation skills, ability to work with seniority across locations, coaching ability, and solid banking/financial services knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in business management, competitive intelligence, strategy, consulting, finance, product or related field
- Strong storytelling and writing skills that clearly communicate complex topics in an easy-to-digest manner
- Superior verbal presentation skills that generate meaningful engagement with an executive audience
- Comfort working with employees at various seniority levels and locations while building strong internal relationships
- Ability to steer and indirectly coach other team members
- Strong understanding of banking trends and experience in financial services industry
