Job Summary
Coaching position for competitive cheer, focusing on program leadership and skill development for athletes. Requires at least one year of coaching experience, strong knowledge of VHSL rules, ability to work well with children, and demonstrated sportsmanship. Responsibilities include applying coaching techniques, coordinating after-school/evening activities, ensuring safety, and maintaining references and TB screening as part of the application process; prior competition at college/club/pro level preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of coaching experience as an Assistant or Head Coach preferred.
- Must have extensive knowledge of the rules and skills in the sport applying for; must be program centered; must have specific skills and exhibits good sportsmanship.
- Must have knowledge of VHSL rules and works well with children.
- Previously competed at the college level, club team or professional level.
