Job Summary
Conduct competition cheer coaching for Portsmouth Public Schools, applying extensive knowledge of VHSL rules and sport skills to program-centered instruction. Manage coaching duties for athletes with prior college, club, or professional experience while demonstrating good sportsmanship and working effectively with children. Handle average-weight objects up to 25 pounds and stand or walk for several hours daily, with potential exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and loud noises. Submit a standard on-line application including two letters of reference and a recent TB test or screening.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of coaching experience as an Assistant or Head Coach
