Job Summary
Lead the implementation and management of the Competence Assurance Standard Operating Unit during both the construction phase up to first oil and the operations phase through decommissioning. Ensure assigned personnel possess required behaviors, knowledge, and skills to execute offshore roles effectively for safe FPSO start-up and operations. Leverage digital tools to monitor and implement the Project Competence Assessment Program, meeting KPI targets. Oversee Fleet Instructors and Training Analysts, manage Operator Training Simulators, and prepare weekly reports to track milestone achievements. Maintain competency frameworks and industry standards across the Region 3 Fleet.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (offshore core crew role)
- Minimum of 10 years of offshore experience
- Some experience as instructor/assessor
- Proven track record of implementing or executing competency assessment programs, preferably in a digitalized environment
- Familiarity with competency frameworks, industry standards, and regulations
- STCW COC as Chief Engineer or Master Mariner may serve as alternative
